5 Simple Workouts to do Everyday

Exercise is so important because your body needs the freedom to move and exert energy. Your heart thrives when the rate goes up and burns calories. Cardiovascular exercise is especially good for heart health. Your excess weight falls off once you get moving. It can be a very glorious experience for many. On the other hand, there are many people who detest the thought of getting into a gym because it all seems so overwhelming and difficult. Luckily, there are simple workouts that you can do every day and achieve the results you desire most.

1. Jumping Jacks
Jumping jacks are really easy to do and they're tons of fun. As soon as you hop out of
bed in the morning, wake yourself up with jumping jacks. Because they're so easy to
do in a short amount of time, do ten sets of ten. This is a great way to get the heart
pumping and jolt yourself to wake up. If you find yourself in a slump around 2 pm at work,
stop and do five sets of ten. You'll get the blood pumping and you won't have to travel to
a gym to get it done.

2. Dance Workouts
If you love to dance, know that dancing is a great form of cardiovascular exercise
as well. While it's lots of fun to be in community and dance with others in a dance
exercise class, some find it a tad bit intimidating. If you're intimidated by the gym and
others in a public class, turn on YouTube or pop in a dvd and do a dance class from the
comfort of your own home. Choose options like jazz, Zumba, hip hop or African. Find a
space in the home, turn on the laptop and get to work.

3. Resistance Training
Resistance training is excellent for toning and developing strength. If you have a
problem area, you can really target it with resistance training. For example, if you have
flabby arms and would like to sculpt them, do a pull up routine. This will target the
biceps and your triceps. It'll also help you burn more fat. If you'd like a toned behind,
do squats with weights on a consistent basis. Push-ups are excellent for toning arms
as well. If you can do a certain amount of pull-ups at one time, your body will become stronger.

4. Walking
Walking might seem like such a boring and easy exercise. However, it's still a great way
to get your heart rate and because it's so easy, you don't have an excuse to skip it. Do it
in the morning as a way to clear your head and prepare for the day. If you really enjoy a
brisk walk, consider adding ankle weights to help you get some resistance and burn some
more calories. Walking outside can be harder than walking on a treadmill, but it's more
rewarding. Plus, you'll be able to experience the beauty of fresh air.

5. Yoga
Yoga isn't the easiest workout to do, but the concepts are simple. Additionally, the practice
of yoga changes you and inspires a person to live a more simple life. You can roll out a
yoga mat at home and get to work. Whether you choose to use guided meditations or
watch a video course as you do the workout, know that there are so many benefits to this
practice. It enhances your level of flexibility and helps the body become more limber.

These workouts take a level of dedication and consistency. They're simple, but there are
many days when they won't feel easy. Know the difference between simple and easy and
move forward. If you really want to see results, you can't fall in love with what's easy. Be
dedicated and commit to the understanding that you'll have to lean in and enjoy the process.
If you're committed to making exercise a habit, you'll be able to fall in love with the process.
You'll love the process even more once you see the results you get.
